How to play Train Tracks
- Each row and column number counts how many cells contain track. Mark where it belongs before deciding its direction.
- Tap for a dot, then cycle through possible track shapes, X and blank. A dot marks potential track without choosing its direction.
- A board with two exits needs one continuous track between them. A board without exits needs one closed loop. No branches, crossings or separate loops.
- Shaded track pieces are fixed. Drag between cells to draw connections; double back to shorten a stroke. Undo restores the whole stroke.
- Xs, edges and neighbouring track pieces narrow the available shapes. A row or column number turns green when your count matches; tap it to cross out the rest.
Your first useful move
Start with a row or column whose track total is already met. Mark its remaining cells empty, then follow the fixed track ends. Join the two exits, or form one closed loop when the board has no exits.
