Play Blooms (Crowns) online: rules and tips

Previously: Crowns

One crown per row, column and colour. Explore the rules below, then practise Blooms in the HubbardGames Library.

An account is needed to play and save your progress.

One crown per row, column and colour.

How to play Blooms

  • Place exactly one crown in every row, every column and every colour region.
  • No two crowns may touch, not even diagonally.
  • Tap a cell to cycle empty, ✗ (a note), crown.
  • Drag across cells to cross them out while you work it out.

Your first useful move

Start with the most restricted region. Each bloom removes its row, column and touching neighbours from consideration, so a small region can help resolve a much larger one.

Can I practise without affecting the league?

Yes. Choose a puzzle from the Library to practise this game. Library practice does not add league points. You can return to an unfinished puzzle later.
