How to play Shade Out
- Shade cells so no number appears twice unshaded in any row or column.
- Two shaded cells may never touch side by side. Corners are fine.
- Every unshaded cell must stay joined to the others in one group.
- Tap a cell to shade it, tap again to clear it.
Your first useful move
Shading a repeated number can resolve a row but split the remaining white cells. Check both duplicate numbers and connectivity before committing to a shaded square.
