How to play Patchwork
- Split the whole grid into blocks. A block holding a 4 must be four cells.
- Every cell in a block shows that block's size.
- Two different blocks of the same size may never share an edge.
- Blocks with no printed number are allowed, so not every cell is clued.
Your first useful move
Watch where two completed regions of the same size could touch. If they join along an edge, they become one larger region and no longer match their numbers.
