A number crossword with sums.

How to play Cross Sums

  • Fill the white cells with 1 to 9.
  • Each run of white cells must add up to its clue: the number top-right of a block is the across sum, bottom-left is the down sum.
  • No digit repeats within a single run.
  • A run that breaks the sum or repeats a digit turns red.

Your first useful move

Start with a short run and list the different digits that can make its total. Use the crossing run to remove candidates that cannot satisfy both sums.
