How to play Colour Code
- The code is four colour pegs (colours can repeat). You get eight guesses.
- Pick colours from the palette, then Guess.
- A solid peg = a colour in the right spot; an outlined peg = a right colour in the wrong spot.
- The feedback never tells you which peg is which.
Your first useful move
Change your guess for a reason. Compare two rounds to see what a colour change explains, and remember that the feedback pegs do not identify which positions are right.
Playing on HubbardGames
Open a Library board to find this game’s controls. The how-to-play button keeps the rules close by while you solve, so you can check a detail without leaving the puzzle.
Choose your difficulty
The Library shows the available difficulty levels for this game. Choose a board that suits you, then return for another when you want more practice.
Can I practise without affecting the league?
Yes. Choose a puzzle from the Library to practise this game. Library practice does not add league points. You can return to an unfinished puzzle later.
